Spa-Inspired Dreams in the Primary Bathroom
This primary bathroom was inspired by the best of luxury spa retreats — and it surely fits the bill. It’s a peaceful marvel from top to bottom, with its gorgeous, relaxing vibe. To make the dream a reality, the team used our Calacatta Gold 12"x24" Subway Marble Tile for the luxury tile flooring.
The gray-streaked tile is created from carefully selected marble slabs, ensuring the highest luster and shimmer with a bit of understated color. It is absolutely exquisite, and the larger size is perfect for an expansive bathroom like this one.
But the floors aren’t the only play where Riad Tile shows up in this space.
You’ll never want to step out of this capacious, walk-in steam shower that’s adorned in our Snow White 4"x4" Zellige Tile on the walls and our Calacatta Gold 1"x4" Herringbone Mosaic Marble Tile on the floor and ceiling.
As a traditional, handcrafted Moroccan tile, every single Zellige tile is unique with its own color variations. It serves to heighten the feeling of bespoke luxury in the shower, as does the herringbone marble that provides a dynamic contrast in shape along with an incredibly complementary palette that boasts similar yet distinct color variations.
What we also love is how the team chose to provide continuity from the main bathroom to the shower and back again, using the same Zellige tile behind the standing bathtub.
Retro-Luxe in the Secondary Bathroom
It’s not just the primary bathroom that gets top billing in this home. This secondary bathroom is no wallflower, thanks to our Terra 12"x12" Terrazzo Tile.
Terrazzo, which was wildly popular in the 1970s, has been such an impressive comeback kid in the design world. Recognizable for its explosion of uniquely colored flecks and spots in both nostalgic tones and earthy hues, this tile revival introduces a groovy-luxe edge to any space.
While there are many modern and vibrant variations of terrazzo, with unconventional juxtapositions of materials, the organic earthiness of our “Terra” option in this bathroom is a magnificent counterpart to the sleek lines of the modern gray marble vanity.
‘Check’ Marks the Spot in the Butler’s Pantry & Mudroom
Both the mudroom and butler’s pantry can sometimes play supporting actor roles to other “star” rooms of a home, but not here. These spaces come out of the shadows with a standout design that starts with the luxury tile flooring in a statement-making checkerboard pattern.
First up, the luxe butler’s pantry is feeling the “blues” in the best way possible with our Casablanca Carrara & Bardiglio Grey 3” Marble Mosaic Tile in partnership with the dreamiest dark sea-blue cabinets and a hidden grocery pass-through door as a surprise bonus.
This beautiful mudroom offers a beautiful “welcome back” message — every time the owners walk through the back door. In this space, the organic richness of the wood cabinetry brings a warm edge to the same Casablanca Carrara & Bardiglio Grey 3” marble, which likewise commands attention on the floor.
The elegant natural striations and variances in this Casablanca marble are a more subtle yet stunning take on the traditional black-and-white version — and they can be a surefire way to add a unique, luxurious tone to any room.
Gorgeous Shades of Gray for a Laundry Room & Wet Bar
In this home, the laundry room goes from a functional space to a fabulous work of art with a mix of moody tones in the deep charcoal cabinetry, light gray stone counters, and our Iron Grey 2"x6" Zellige Tile on the backsplash.
But the laundry room isn’t the only place where the Iron Grey Zellige comes out to play. It’s too gorgeous to just reserve for the laundry room, so the design team also introduced it in the wet bar. Installed in a herringbone pattern, the tile takes on a new meaning and offers an ideal backdrop for pouring a cocktail or a glass of wine.
