This week’s customer spotlight is all about mixing modern lines, retro style, and sweet southern charm. Alyssa Demilio, an interior designer based out of Charleston, South Carolina, specializes in Airbnbs and is the mastermind behind this week’s look. You can find this beautiful bathroom in The Monroe On Spring, a historic building in downtown Charleston refurbished as a luxury vacation home. The Monroe’s website describes the interior as a combination of mid-century finishes and classic French elements with “an ambiance of updated Southern luxury.”
Our Nola Pink Tile adorns the shower walls and bathroom floor, adding a sweet hint of color to compliment the green teal walls of the rest of the space. Our 2” Hex Casablanca Carrara Marble on the shower floor breaks up the bold swathes of color with a breath of alabaster.View this post on Instagram
The marble tile on the shower floor compliments a marble sink nestled between an antique mirror and a mid-century dresser. The gold accents on the dresser tie back into the intricate mirror frame, and it’s clear that Demilio planned every element of this space with meticulous attention and artistic sincerity.View this post on Instagram
If there’s anything we at Riad love more than a beautiful design, it’s a beautiful design that presents us with something unexpected. The combination of colors, textures, and style eras give us something fresh yet evocative of a different time. If you’re interested in staying at The Manor On Spring, you can book your stay here.
