Our raw white French oak is sourced from mature, 150-year-old trees in northeastern France, where the climate produces large, straight logs with a tight grain. These trees are only harvested when fully mature, ensuring sustainability. After harvesting, the planks are sent to Belgium for meticulous hand-finishing. The dense French oak’s high tannin concentration undergoes a reactive oxidation process, creating rich, warm tones naturally without synthetic dyes.
